The sensor. robust and precise. provides an alternating magnetic champ under the keel and measures the electrical champ resulting from the boat's movement in the water. The control box supplied converts the sensor signal into a pulse which is sent to the display.
The electromagnetic sensor is only suitable for composite hulls.
